“ I’m not sure where to begin when speaking about Julia. It’s impossible to adequately describe the positive impact she had on our family. She has truly been a life saver throughout the first month of my son’s life. I was struggling tremendously with breastfeeding-physically but even more so, emotionally. Not only did Julia talk honestly with me about it, she was very reassuring and made me feel comfortable and confident… not shame me or guilt me to do anything.

Julia knows her stuff! She is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. She explained how to use my pump more efficiently, as I was transitioning to doing so exclusively. When my plans changed, yet again, Julia was there to help answer questions and validate my emotions. She would check in with me often to see how I was feeling and managing the myriad of demands a new mom faces, as well as monitoring where I was at in my journey (pumping or not.) Julia was extremely responsive and was always a calming presence to speak to when I was having a tough moment. I never felt like I was just a client…she cared and it made all the difference! “Our family is grateful for the care provided by Healthy Babies, Happy Moms. Our son was born a few weeks early and we had a difficult hospital course. After discharge, we were told that due to elevated bilirubin levels, we would need to start phototherapy immediately. Fortunately, HBHM was an option and we were able to immediately arrange this treatment in the comfort of our home instead of being re-admitted. It is impossible to say in words how relieving this was to us. The staff was immediately responsive to our needs and within a few hours, our son was under the blue lights in our living room.

Julia was his nurse and came to our home daily for the next 3 days to check on our son. We were able to do the required lab work with her. She coordinated all results with our pediatrician. She even checked on mom each visit. Julia showed professionalism, expertise, compassion, and patience every moment she was with us. Both of us work in healthcare and can’t recall working with a better nurse.

The therapy was rapidly effective and our son is full recovered from his hyperbilirubinemia, doing great at 1 month old!”
